At the end of the quarter, after reviewing and scoring the OKRs with your team, you will need to close the ending OKR period.
In GI OKR, it means that the administrators should move OKRs from"review" to "archive".
Once the OKRs are archived you can start building new OKRs for the next quarter.
We advise you to follow these few best practices when building OKRs for a new quarter:
- Build a draft of OKRs that you share to your team to get some feedback
- Build Objectives according to you last quarter's OKRs score
- If you had a lot of 1's in the last quarter, then evaluate your objectives. Are they too easy or too safe? Your goals must make you slightly uncomfortable. 0.7 is a good score!
- Keep the evaluation simple. If your Objective is to increase GMV by 20%, and you increased it by 10%, give yourself a 0.5.
